Cloverleaf Permanganate Answer - For Open Wounds Ulcers Fin Rot
An antiseptic dip used to paint directly onto an effected area or used as a bath to treat individual fish, or can be used when introducing new fish to a pond as a preventative.
Also effective when used as a swab against argulus.
To be used in water over 22 degrees Celcius.
Treats:
- Damage/Open Wounds - Caused by Accidents when breeding, attacked by heron, sudden disturbance, symptoms are reddish scrapping on body of fish, large open wound, missing scales
- Fin and tail rot - Caused by bacteria, symptoms blood streaking and rotting away reddish tips to effected area
- Ulcers - Caused by bacteria, symptoms open sores red looking generally on body of fish
- Argulus - Caused by a parasite/fish lice - A typical fish louse of genus argulus is very flat with anoval or rounded carapace, two compounded eyes, sucking mouthparts with a piercing stylit, and two suction cups it uses to attach to its host. Found attached on the outside of the fish
Application
• Add 10ml for every 200 litres (44 gallons) of water for 10-12 hour use
• Add 10ml for every 40 litres (9 gallons) of water for 30 minutes
• To use as a swab for Argulus and fungus use 10ml per 400 litres
• Add to a dip tank of water and mix. If adding to pond switch off UV for 10 days
• Do no Repeat or use any other trteatments for 10 days
• Switch off UV for 10 days if adding to a pond
Please Note: This treatment is not recommended for use if Sterlets, Orfe, Roach, Rudd or Perch are present, the treatments are for Koi Carp and Goldfish.
