Tetra Test Kit Gen. Hardness
TETRATEST GENERAL HARDNESS
Simple to use kit for determining GH (general hardness) levels..
General Hardness (GH) is a measure of the total mineral content of the water (primarily calcium and magnesium). Mineral content is important for the overall health of the environment, and so should be checked from time to time. Soft water areas are more vulnerable to mineral depletion, and therefore GH is more critical in such situations. The only way to check the GH is with a TetraTest GH kit.
Highly accurate liquid test
Simple to use
Excellent long-term stability
Application
The TetraTest GH kit is a liquid kit, which works by changing the colour of a water sample in relation to the GH concentration. You simply need to count the number of drops it takes to turn the water sample from red to green, to determine the GH level.
We recommend testing for GH once a week in soft water areas, and once every 2-3 weeks in hard water areas.
Always read the instructions carefully before use. If GH levels are unsatisfactory then you should seek advice as to the underlying cause.
