The Floraduct is a user friendly addition for your pond. The Floraduct makes maintenance of flora and fauna in the pond simple, and offers a number of possibilities for introducing decorative plants into the pond.

Three baskets can be placed in the triangular holder. This all floats on the water surface. Due to a cord that can be adjusted by length and a weight (not included) that rests on the bottom of the pond, you also have the option of allowing the Floraduct to sink below the waters surface.

With the helpof Floraduct, it is extremely easy to introduce plants in various places in the pond, both underwater and at the surface. By changing the plant containers, you can regularly lter the composition of plants in your pond, and create new 'pond bouquets' through out the season. The Floraduct offers an easy way to broaden your pond pleasure.

For natural ponds the Floraduct rises and falls with the changing water level therfore the plants remain in contact with the water and will not dry out in the summer months.

The Floating island is ecologically innovative because in the winter months it promotes the natural exchange of gasses, keeps the pond 'ice free' and thus protects the ponds fauna. In summer months the floating island helps keep the pond cool because of the shadow it provides. The water plants contained in the Floraduct floating planter put out roots which help remove superfluous nutrients from the water and so reduce algae growth in the pond. The Floating Baskets Planting Island is especially suited to fish ponds as the fish are not able to damage the plants which are floating.
