Making A Purchase
On-Line
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Orders can be accepted over the phone Monday to Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm and at weekends 10:00am - 4.00pm by telephoning 01536 515304. (Please note, closed Sundays during the winter November 1st to February 28th).

Collect at Shop
It is possible to collect goods by calling at the shop. Selling on the web is far less expensive than through a shop and our shop prices reflect this difference. If you wish to take advantage of web prices when calling personally, ask at the check out to be charge at web prices.
Payment
We accept Cheques, Postal Orders, PayPal, and the following cards, Delta, Mastercard, Solo, Switch and Visa. We can accept card payments by telephone during shop hours (see opening hours in about us section). We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.
Please note that cheques will have to clear before goods can be dispatched. This normally takes around 3-5 working days.
Contract
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling Christmas and New Year Deliveries - please read the following details carefully.
Our customer services department will be closed over Christmas from Wednesday 24th December until Monday 5th January.
We will be unable to take telephone payments, awnser emails or deal with any queries between these dates.
Christmas Deliveries
Items ordered on or before 22nd of December should arrive before Christmas providing the order value is above £50.00 or the customer has added the £5.95 next day delivery charge.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that item's ordered after 17th December and sent out by Royal Mail will reach you before Christmas.
Items ordered after 22nd December will not be dispatched untill January 5th 2009.

*Delivery on orders to the value of £50.00 and above are free to the U.K. mainland (£5.95 for orders under this value) excluding Northern Ireland, the Highlands and the Islands of Scotland .
For all offshore destinations including N. Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of White, Scottish Isles & Highlands delivery is £12.00. We appologies but we are currently unable to ship to the Republic of Ireland.
Damages or shortages must be notified to Kettering Koi & Ponds within 24 hours of receipt.

Signing for goods.
Please ensure that you check your items are received in good condition before signing. Carriers do not accept liability for any damage not noted at the time of signing.
If you are unable to inspect the goods do not write unchecked, as this has no effect whatsoever.
If unsure or you suspect the goods are damaged clearly write DAMAGED along side your signature. Failure to do so invalidates our insurances and we may not be able to accept that the damage was caused in transit.
We can with your agreement arrange for goods to be left for you unsigned for in a secure place of your choosing. We advise against this as we can not accept any liability for loss or damage and do not issue refunds for goods left unattended
Delivery is deemed to take place when the Goods are delivered to your nominated address, whereupon the risks of loss, breakage and all damage and all other risks shall pass to you. |
Delivery Schedule Goods will normally be dispatched within 24 hours of cleared payment. Orders received by 2:00 pm will be dispatched the same day (cheque’s require up to 5 working days to clear) by parcelforce 48 hour service or Interlink 24 hour sevice (extra P&P charges may apply to 24 hour service). Delivery will be made on a working day, ie Monday - Friday excluding bank holidays.
As a precaution, we suggest that no arrangements are made with any contracters until the goods have arrived and been checked.

Should an item develop a fault within its guarantee period, it may be sent back to Kettering Koi & Ponds for repair, or taken to our shop with your purchase receipt. If returning by carrier or post you must obtain a Returns Authorisation Number fom us and enclose that information with the product.
When returning products, the responsibility for the goods is yours until we receive them back. We recommend that you return products by recorded delivery or by carrier that requires a signature. Kettering Koi & ponds Ltd., accepts no responsibility for goods returned to us that are not received unless signed proof of delivery can be provided. On safe return of the product we reserves the right to repair or replace any faulty item at our discretion.
Kettering Koi & Ponds shall not be liable for any consequential loss of the customer whether this arises from a breach of contract or any other way.
Kettering Koi & Ponds total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by Kettering Koi & Ponds to the customer.
Advice and instructions are given in good faith, it is the customers responsibility to research the suitability of the product to its intended use.
