PondEco 8000 Pond pump Catalog No: 808310
The highly efficient design of the PondEco 8000 pumps synchronous motor gives this pump high performance at very low running costs. The vortex blades of its impeller will handle solids up to 8 mm without clogging making the PondEco an ideal pump for us with pond filters and waterfalls.
To prevent motor damage the PondEco pump has a built in TFR (Thermal Resettable Fuse) that automatically switches the pump off if it overheats. Once cooled, the pump should switch itself back on after 15 to 20 minutes.
PondEco pumps can be used externally, dry mounted, and have a 1.5" threaded inlet and outlet. When sited externally they must be set up below water level as they are not self priming and we advise they are run like this only at the end of gravity fed external filter systems.
