The Interpet Internal Power Filter PF3 is a versatile and simple to use aquarium filter. It offers you and your fish a cleaner, healthier aquarium with triple action filtration. The PF3 aquarium filter includes a foam carrier, flow control, head rotation, venturi and Interpet’s unique, patented Aqua Valve. Aqua Valve allows waste materials to pass into the filter, but prevents them from dumping back into the aquarium. Therefore, unlike almost every filter on the market, the Interpet PF3 filter allows the consumer to simply turn the filter off, and remove the body for cleaning, without seeing all the removed waste drop back into their clean aquarium.

For filter media, the Interpet PF3 aquarium filter contains a plain foam and a carbon foam.
An optional fine felt pad is available to polish the aquarium water.

PF3 has an additional separate Biomedia chamber that is housed in the head unit and contains Biomedia. The huge surface area of this media provides superior biological filtration. Additionally it allows the filter foams to be cleaned more thoroughly, as doing so will not affect the biological effectiveness of the filter.
