Green 2 Clean Pond Filter Process
3 Stage Pond Filtration
Stage 1 Algae Destruction:
Pond water passes through the UVC (Ultra Violet Clarifier) situated within the lid of the Green 2 Clean pond filter which kills the algae that cause 'green water', the dead alge then clump together and are taken to stage two.
Stage 2 Mechanical Filtration:
Three layers of specially developed, dimple foam filter sponge pads trap the algae clumps plus other large particles and strain them from the water.
Stage 3 Biological Purification:
After mechanical filtration, the pond water passes through Flocor biological filter media where aerobic bacteria convert lethal ammonia and nitrite into harmless compounds.
The position of the outlet makes it possible for the Green 2 Clean to be partially buried. To further aid invisibility the systems are green in colour
